FLUSH

A feminist, multidisciplinary creation for theatre, FLUSH is a mix of contemporary dance, physical theatre, stand-up comedy, projection, text and voice. Interrogating traditional constructs of gender and biblical motifs of water, FLUSH is an autobiographical tragicomedy of its time. One girl’s desperate attempts to hook up in an apocalypse. The world is drowning and so is she.

FLUSH is a window into single life in a post covid climate crisis; a multidisciplinary solo work combining dance, text, projections, voice and water. It’s hot, wet, icky, romantic, tragic, comic, biblical, cinematic. It’s raw and unfiltered; living in a climate crisis, drowning in the dating pool.

FLUSH is for anyone who has dated, and perhaps anyone who has not. Maybe it’s a work for the future; A history lesson; A time capsule. Or maybe it’s just a dream.

Drown your sorrows.
 Rinse off thoroughly.
