ELEMENTAL

Home exists within and without, both figuratively and metaphorically - as a concrete construct and an emotional abstraction.

It is a spatial element. a submergent. a space that both embraces and oppresses. Bound by elemental properties of attraction and repulsion, home is a place of sanctuary and sometimes danger.

As an evolving site of departure and rediscovery, rest and rejuvenation, entrances and exits, home can be predictable and yet not; constant whilst ever changing.

Elemental explores the body in relation to the physical architecture of place and the internal landscape of belonging.
